Welcome to The Estate Planning Council of Polk County!

The Estate Planning Council of Polk County is an organization of professional Estate Planners throughout Polk County with backgrounds in several disciplines; including Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorneys, Trust Officers, Insurance Professionals, Certified Public Accountants, Certified Financial Planners, Chartered Financial Consultants, and Non-Profit/Charitable Foundaiton and Endowment Professionals. 

We are a member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC).   It is the Mission of the NAEPC to promote the multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning by supporting local estate planning councils and their members and by encouraging the formation of new councils. 

The Estate Planning Council of Polk County (EPCPC) continues to carefully monitor the public health response to, and guidance about COVID-19.  Your board of directors is committed to following appropriate state and national guidance about managing business events.  We are incredibly grateful for the support of the EPCPC members, sponsors, and colleagues during these unprecedented times and have been working tirelessly to review the organizations plans and activities for the new member year and to continue provide value to our members.

The EPCPC Board of Directors is working to confirm meeting dates and speakers for the upcoming 2021 / 2022 membership year.

Estate Planning Council of Polk County is affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and joining can fulfill the requirement of belonging to an affiliated local estate planning council to become an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee.
